Project Managers Positions

Planned, purchase, direct and manage construction projects. Coordinate and develop project concepts and timelines in order to ensure implementation within deadlines and with minimal financial risk. Manage staff, assign duties, procure materials, oversee inventory invoices, coordinate field communications, measure productivity, and determine areas for improvement. Review, prepare, and maintain project activity reports and financial activity reports associated with the project. Create and develop project budget objectives based on the individual project’s technical requirements and material costs. Perform cost control and budget the project as necessary to ensure cost-effectiveness. Prepare, record, and follow up on bids for potential projects. Perform other duties as necessary. Multiple positions available. Job requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering or closely related field. 3 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager or related jobs in which the required construction project management experience is gained. Alternate job requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or closely related field and 1 year of experience as a Construction Project Manager or related jobs in which the required construction project management experience is gained. Skills required: Technical expertise in construction project management, data analysis, risk management, quality assurance and testing, agile and lean methodologies, technical documentation, communication with technical teams, leadership, problem solving, organizational abilities, cost estimation, and project planning. Project Estimators Positions

Responsible for deciding the projected time frame needed to complete a project and additional factors like labor needs, materials, budgets and potential setbacks. Duties include communicating with personnel and contractual professionals or vendors, using computer software to weigh production risks or compile reports and making presentations to project leaders outlining their suggestions for upcoming projects. Perform other related duties. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field. 2 years of experience as cost estimator or any occupation in which cost estimation experience is gained. Ability to perform quantity takeoffs from the ground up. Ability to maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers throughout the pre-bid process, including solicitation of bids and constructability input. Ability to Analyze Subcontractor and Material Quotes for responsiveness to the Estimate and Project requirements. Ability to Review, analyze, and interpret contract documents (specifications, drawings, and reference information) to develop detailed, comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects. Ability to understand architectural and engineering blueprints. Ability to structure an estimate to optimize construction costs. On-Site experience to understand how a project is put together, the time and labor required, and insight into areas which can cause estimate issues. Multiple positions available. FT. Construction Supervisor Positions

Supervise and coordinate activities of construction or extraction workers. Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met. Read blueprints and specs to determine requirements. Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers. Assign work based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs. Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities. Estimate and order material or worker requirements to complete jobs. Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions. Train workers in construction methods, safety procedures, or company policies. Confer with managers and contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities. Record information, such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports. Suggest or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, or hires. Multiple positions available. Requirements: High school diploma, GED or its foreign equivalent. 2 years of experience as a Construction Foreman, Supervisor or any occupation in which construction worker supervisory experience is gained. Experience evaluating information to determine compliance with standards; experience estimating the quantifiable characteristics of products, events, or information; experience drafting, laying out, and specifying technical devices, parts, and equipment. The construction supervisors will travel to unanticipated jobsites within the DC metro area at least 3 to 4 times a week. FT.
