Construction Supervisor Positions
Supervise and coordinate activities of construction or extraction workers.
Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that
specifications are met. Read blueprints and specs to determine requirements. Supervise,
coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers. Assign work based on material or worker
requirements of specific jobs. Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities.
Estimate and order material or worker requirements to complete jobs. Analyze worker or
production problems and recommend solutions. Train workers in construction methods, safety
procedures, or company policies. Confer with managers and contractors to resolve problems or to
coordinate activities. Record information, such as personnel, production, or operational data on
specified forms or reports. Suggest or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, or
hires. High School/GED, or its foreign equivalent. 24 months of experience as construction
foreman, supervisor, lead carpenter or any occupation in construction related field in which
construction experience is gained. Experience evaluating information to determine compliance
with standards; experience estimating the quantifiable characteristics of products, events, or
information; experience drafting, laying out, and specifying technical devices, parts, and
equipment. $88,296-$88,296 per year. FT. Require to travel to jobsites within DC metro area at

Project Manager Positions

Plan, purchase, direct and manage construction projects. Coordinate and
develop project concepts and timelines in order to ensure implementation within deadlines and
with minimal financial risk. Manage staff, assign duties, procure materials, oversee inventory
invoices, coordinate field communications, measure productivity, and determine areas for
improvement. Review, prepare, and maintain project activity reports and financial activity reports
associated with the project. Create and develop project budget objectives based on the individual
project’s technical requirements and material costs. Perform cost control and budget the project as necessary to ensure cost-effectiveness. Prepare, record, and follow up on bids for potential
projects. Perform other duties as necessary. Multiple positions available. Requirements: Bachelor's
degree, or foreign equivalent, in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial
Engineering or closely related field. 2 years of experience as a Project Manager or related
occupation in any field in which the project management experience is gained. Must have 2 years
of construction related experience such as construction manager, carpenter, or labor. Must have
the following skills: Technical expertise in construction project management, data analysis, risk
management, quality assurance and testing, agile and lean methodologies, technical
documentation, communication with technical teams, leadership, problem solving, organizational
abilities, cost estimation, and project planning. Travel to construction sites within DC metro area
